DIY T-Shirt Headband

Uncategorized

19 Sep

I love headbands! Such a cute and functional accessory. But, let me tell you, it is tough to find a good one. Trust me, I’ve done the legwork. They are either so tight you look bald, so loose that whats the point, and lets not forget the ones that give you a headache within the hour.

You know the old saying, If you can’t find it, write it? Well I took this phrase to heart and decided that I would have to design the perfect headband. Lets be real, I watched a few YouTube tutorials!

However, after a few flops, I really did come up with the perfect prototype.

This is literally so simple! All you need is a t-shirt and some scissors. But, before you scroll down to the video – here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a t-shirt:

  • Quality Fabric. Soft, substantial and stretchy is what you want. You might have an awesome t-shirt that has a stain, or one that doesn’t fit quite right. I would also suggest checking out Goodwill. You could get a few different options for a couple bucks!
  • Visual Interest. A bright bold color or funky pattern will make your headband look intentional rather than recycled.

Okay are you ready? Do you have your t-shirt? Lets Go!

Real confidence is the biggest flex. Here is how I see it:✨you wake up everyday with joy in your heart.✨you continue to show up, even when it’s really hard.✨you take EVERYTHING personally, and use it to grow.✨you invest mentally energy in who you really are.✨you reserve your heart for deeper things.✨you live like Elsa and let it go.✨you realize the difficulties are meant to rouse.#confidence ... Winter gets a bad rap. Hear me out….On Saturday December 21st at 4:19 am, we entered into the Winter Solstice. This marked the day the Earth’s poles reached their maximum tilt away from the sun. It is know as the symbolic death but also the rebirth of the sun. While it appears that we are entering into a long stretch of stagnation, rest assured, the earth and sun are quietly at work. The days ahead signify a slow, but miraculous trek back to the light. Our sun is on a new journey! Are you?Read the rest on my blog:) LINK IN BIO ... See MoreSee Less

The antidote for pretty much anything is patience. Pure, simple and so hard.Often we learn to be patient, because after much trial and error, we realize that nothing else works.Things seem urgent, but they are not. Instead ask yourself, “how can I best serve myself in this moment?”The answer will always be….. to pause.#patience #pilates #yoga ... See MoreSee Less

You are both simultaneously divine and human. The I am expands to allow it all.-RAM DASSHave you ever stopped to realize that where you are is exactly where you are supposed to be to be in this moment? With all of your passions, desires, fears, excitement, curiosity, loneliness and pain. It’s all perfect. You are a human being. It’s messy. But you have a sacred divinity too.The balance, the flow, the ups and the downs are all meant for you. This is your humanity, and it is happening in divine timing.don’t miss the show….#ramdass #beherenow #humanity #divinity ... See MoreSee Less
